Most people think California has had the worst earthquake, when actually Missouri holds the record. In 1812 an earthquake measuring more than 8.0 on the Richter Scale occurred at New Madrid, Missouri. This earthquake made the Mississippi River run backwards for three days and made Church bells ring In Philadelphia! Our building reflects that odd event, and Ripley's...Believe It or Not!® in Branson has become one of the most photographed buildings In the world!
Our entrance foyer is matched to the theme of our building's exterior, but we assure you it is safe and sound. Here is where you will begin an unforgettable, yet "Believable" journey
Seasonal hours: March 15th - December 15th 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. 7 days a week
December 16th - March 14th 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. 7 days a week
Indicates considerable accessibility for wheelchairs. All parking area is surfaced, disabled spaces are marked and they are eight feet wide and some have an adjacent five foot aisle. There are no steps or steep ramps from parking to the main entrance door. The entry door is 32 inches or wider. The building interior floor does not have steps or, if so, has an elevator and aisles or walkways 36 inches or wider. Some of the public restrooms are designed for people with disabilities. Some of the public phones, public drinking fountains, etc. are designed with disabilities in mind.
